A showroom, boutique, and site of fashion resistance in Berlin.

Stinky Truth is the physical space of Anima Protection — a Berlin-based fashion label founded by Lithuanian sisters Gintarė and Lauryna Jankauskaitė. Located in Kreuzberg, this boutique serves as a public extension of the brand’s studio: a place where garments, ideas, and conversations are made visible.

At its core, Anima Protection explores identity through raw, unpolished aesthetics. The brand works exclusively with upcycled and second-hand materials — textiles that carry past lives and are reimagined into sculptural, emotionally charged pieces. From fragmented knitwear to distorted tailoring and dystopian bridalwear, the collections reject perfection in favor of personality, discomfort, and emotional truth.

Clothes are deconstructed, reassembled, and always intentional. Each piece moves between structure and softness, between armor and vulnerability. Denim becomes fluid, seams are made visible, and silhouettes shift with the body. These are garments that think — about the self, the system, and the waste it leaves behind.

Nothing here is generic. Nothing repeats.
The work sits between fashion, art, and performance — not showy, but quietly confrontational.
You won’t find racks of easy answers. But you might find something that changes your mind.
Or your shape.

Stinky Truth is not just a store. It’s a site for small revolutions:
against fast fashion, against aesthetic sterilization, against pretending.
It invites reflection, presence, and slow transformation.

Why Stinky? Because the truth — especially when it comes to waste, to fashion, to systems we all participate in — isn’t always clean.
And yet, we insist on working with it. Wearing it. Naming it.

This is fashion made from what’s been left behind.
Fashion as protection.
Fashion as critique.
Fashion as process.

At Stinky truth not only you can purchase the items, but as well rent or order specially for you customed clothing item.
